TwofortheOcean Posted April 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2018 (edited) Hi all, A great pleasure for us has been to enjoy fresh cooked lobster with a beer on the beach at Mystery Island over the years. I have been told by some recent tourists that they are no longer available here.:):):ship: Can this be true? It must generate a lot of income for the local community so can anyone tell me wether, on a recent trip, they also enjoyed this simple pleasure of island life? Thank you, HAPPY TRAILS ALL, Ela & Ian :) :) :):) Edited April 2, 2018 by TwofortheOcean Forgot smilies
purple123au Posted April 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2018 We visited Mystery Island last week. I did not see any lobsters available. Same on Isle of Pines.

robinph Posted April 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2018 I believe they have stopped selling them due to diminished supplies due to over fishing. They are trying to let stocks build up again.
TwofortheOcean Posted April 17, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted April 17, 2018 (edited) Thank you all for replying. Glad to hear they are being sustainable - we want to be part of the solution, not the problem. We look forward to visiting Vanuatu again and being amongst such happy and wonderful people. May you all enjoy your travels wherever you go. Regards, Ela + Ian :):D:):)(y). . . I guess we're holding hands.
