On board beverage purchases

I have a quick question. Does the onboard beverages ever go on sale? I am looking to start buying things here and there for my cruise August 2019. Should I wait for a sale? Or should I just start ordering things?

If you are speaking of beverage packages, Bottomless Bubbles and Cheers, I have never seen either of them put on sale.

If you are speaking of buying water or liquor from the Fun Shops to be delivered to your cabin, I don't know whether they run sales.

I would like to purchase the water bottles and the powerade to be delivered to the cabin. I read that bringing water on to the ship isn't allowed so I figured that I would order it now and get it out of the way.

Yes, what you've read is correct. Order your water, and other beverages to be delivered to your cabin ahead of time. You can no longer carry them on. The exceptions would be canned non alcohol beverages. You can also carry on 1 bottle of wine (750 ml) per person over 21.
