Travel insurance after a knee replacement

Recommended Posts

I have recently had bilateral knee replacement surgery (11 weeks ago). Previously I have used InsurenGo for cruise insurance, but this is a whole new ball game.

Which travel insurance companies have you found good after knee replacement? The cruise is just an 8 day cruise to the Pacific Islamds on Carnival Spirit in December.

The only true way of finding out if an insurance company is any good is how they deal with a claim. Sure we can purchase a policy for which we pay an extra premium for our existing conditions but unless someone has had a dislodgement or something similar whilst on a trip you may struggle to get the answer you are looking for

I'm not sure that it will matter what insurance company you go with, it will be a pre-existing condition no matter what. I have pre-existing conditions and I have regularly used InsureAndGo who cover pre-existing conditions. I'm not sure what they are like though if you have to make a claim as I have been fortunate enough not to have made a claim.
