wspano12 Posted October 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2017 We have an overnight in Barbados on the Summit (Mon/tues). Been to Boathouse several times. Looking for a new beach day, lunch spot, see more of island. Thought we would go to Holetown. Disappointed the Tides not open for lunch so was thinking of trying Beach House? Would like to rent chairs on the beach. Old reviews on Trip Advisor mention two places, Zaccios and Ju Jus? Does anyone happen yo know if these places do in fact rent chairs/umbrellas or have other recommendations? Thought we would go to Champers for dinner? No idea what to do on Tuesday. Want2Cruise 701 Posted October 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2017 You can rent chairs and umbrellas in front of Surfside in Holetown. It's a little beach bar. It's not far from the Beach house. I can't comment on lunch, but we went to the Beach House back in June for dinner and it was so so. Our favorite for dinner is The Cliff. The food and experience were wonderful. We've eaten at The Tides for dinner too. While good, I would give the edge to the cliff if you can do it. I do hear Champers is good as well as Lonestar and Cin Cin. Your next day you can do a Silvermoon Catamaran if you haven't already done so. If your ship doesn't leave til late the second evening, you can have dinner in Oistins. It's a fun and different type of atmosphere. Cheap eats and very casual. Different vendors you can order from. Friday night is the best night to hit the Oistins Fish Fry though.
littleTLondon Posted December 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2017 Hi A lovely way to spend the day and lunch spot would be Lone Star Restaurant. They don't hire beds from this restaurant but there are places either side when you can hire beds for the day, namely Juju's or Santi. These are both great beach bars for spending the day and eating/drinking whereas the Lone Star is more of a restaurant; their lunches are lovely. They have a decking where you can sit in beach wear but if you want to lunch in the restaurant we have always found that most people wear smart casual day wear. They are all on the lovely Alleynes Beach which is just past Holetown.
