bocamimi Posted June 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2018 What to pack for Sept. cruise Vancouver to San Diego. Light jacket or heavy? Have done this cruise only in May and needed a heavy jacket for the cool mornings.
Rare martincath Posted June 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2018 Always go light - you can add a warmth layer if needed by putting a sweater, fleece, extra T-shirt or whatever underneath it, but you can't avoid overheating in a thick jacket work in warm weather when all you need is the rainproof aspect... Tennant Posted June 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Same question! Doing a Pacific Coastal on Celebrity Solstice in September and with a little guy in tow! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rare martincath Posted June 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2018 Same answer - layering is even more important for the wee yins with their lower body mass making for a bigger impact from ambient temp/wind, so getting them into something they feel comfy in is important so they don't try to pull off their too-hot clothes and risk getting a chill. Qstrom Posted June 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2018 We enjoyed beautiful weather in both August and September .....light jackets and shorts but it'll get cold on deck out at sea.
