Have put cabin 12020 on hold but only for a few hours (I guess since payment for a May 23 rd cruise is already due) unable to find pictures/you tube /comments on this particular cabin's windows. These window suites are know for broken seals and many have foggy windows.

the other window suites left I know have those foggy windows so if 12020 does as well I must switch to a balcony family suite but we are not sun lovers and Dawn's balconies on deck 12 are not covered...seems a waste of money and probably the views from inside the balcony cabin are not as good.

I stayed in 12522 about two years ago and even though I read abou this problem, we did not have any issue at all nor did two others that were also in this type of room. I can't remember there specific room numbers though!

It is a beautiful room/cabin

Hope this helps

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Suite 12020 is a balcony suite class SD suite and not a SJ !

Window seals problems were more prevalent on the sister ship the STAR.

Have been in 12522 and 12030 on the DAWN and not a problem.

If offered the balcony SD over the windowed SJ suite take the balcony -

the balcony door does not have the problem that the windows do.

With the balcony you are getting more cabin space.

Yes the balcony is visible from deck 13 above but the crew generally

places enough deck lounge chairs to keep viewers at bay.

Stay away from the suites closest to the pool or are adjacent from

the library as the jogging running walking track is overhead and

heavy footed workouts pound the deck floor reverberating down

in the cabins below - the first three suites port and starboard are

the ones of main concern.

About that 12020 don't wait take it !

Prime viewing

Location out the door to the elevators stairs and easy access to

anywhere on the ship.

The benefit of the window suites SJ is the least expensive suite cabins

on the ship - about 3-5 hundred less than the balcony suites SD.
