Beach Front Hotel Under $300 For a Saturday Night Stay - Early May 2018

We'll be on the AOS and are looking for a beach front hotel Saturday Night 5/5/18 post cruise.

We've done some research here and on other Internet/Hotel sites, and I understand because we're staying overnight on a Saturday, its premium pricing.

Would like a room with two beds and ocean view for $300 max, all charges and taxes. Nice to include breakfast and/or nearby restaurants within walking distance, and a decent cab ride from the pier when getting off AOS and to Old San Juan, for some Saturday night activities and visiting some plazas.

Am I asking for too much?

So far, Tres Palms is in the running.

Appreciate any other suggestions from folks who have stayed at above mentioned requirements.

Thanks in advance!

I, too, am looking for 1 night pre-cruise and 1 night post-cruise. Everything seems to be outrageously priced, in my opinion. I have never paid $300 for a hotel. I don't care if it's beach front or not but any suggestions for a decent hotel near the cruise terminal would be appreciated.

We will be on FOTS in April 2019 and just starting to see what are our options.

Thanks for any help.

Update: Just booked a Deluxe Double Room with a 'view' @ the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel. It may not be beachfront, but it is close to the waterfront, we can see the Cruise Ship Ports, it has a Roof Top pool and hot tub, and it's close distance to the local attractions in old San Juan

We've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott - Isla Verde twice. Both times were Saturday nights and one of the two was in May. Pretty sure our cost, each time, was under $300 (thinking it was just over $200). Our flights had gotten in before noon (we sailed Carnival, Sun. - Sun.), so we were at the hotel between 12:30 and 1PM and both times the rooms were ready. I'm sure that's not always the case though. They are basically right across the road from the airport (very quick cab ride) and right on Isla Verde Beach, which is very nice. Their pool is very nice as well. They have places to eat there and they also have a casino.
