Legend - 05/2018 - Excursions

I will be on the Legend next May and I have some questions on the excursions. Is it worth it to buy the small boat excursion for the Tracy Arm Fjord? Right now they are only showing one excursion available to book, when do the other ones usually get released? I have searched the forum and haven't found this information, sorry if it's repeat questions.

Congrats renbowers on your upcoming Alaska cruise we did it Aug.2016 and it was one of our best cruise. We booked the Tracy Arm excursion but because of the ice we were rerouted to Dawes Glacier. For the $$$ they charge you get a up close look but what is not told is that the ship may also follow you up close which is what happen to us so you might want to check it, if i knew that before our excursion i may have not gone we took photos when we got back and they were better than the ones on the small boat. So just something to think about either way you will enjoy seeing the glaciers.

I sailed on this cruise in May and booked it a year out. I booked my excursions in December. I chose not to do the small boat excursion. It was a wonderful cruise.
