Carnival Elation Grand Deck

Just upgraded from a porthole room on Main to an Interior on Grand for $38, while obviously an upgrade, curious if anyone has stayed in an interior up there.

I have not stayed in an interior, but have toured the staterooms and they are a bit more comfortable on the Grand deck. The interiors on this deck have a sofa, and have a more updated decorating scheme. Not to mention, putt-putt is just around the corner!

Unless they've changed it you also get off the ship first. If you are self assist debark Deck 14 is the first off the ship due to the way they run the elevators on debark morning. We stayed in a Jr. Suite and loved that deck.

Those inside cabins are larger than the others on Elation. A well kept secret. Because they are a different design, do not have the lights mounted on the wall, the bedside lamps each have two USB ports, as well as the two at the desk. EM
