triptastic Posted June 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2017 Hi, I have booked an OV cabin for Musica next year. Ideally would have liked a balcony, but it seems they are all sold out. We are 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 10). I am wondering if anyone can tell me what I am in for with this room? It is a port intensive cruise so there will be little hanging around in the room. If anyone has cruised with 4 in this cabin, please provide tips which helped maintain your sanity! Thanks

Skier52 Posted June 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) Anyone? Does anyone have any photos of one of these cabins with the 4 beds down? This is a Quad OV on Divina (~186 sq ft). Musica will be similar ( the bunks may be wall mounted, not ceiling mounted, as in this image. in my experience ( in an OV on Opera, wall mounted bunks) it was best set up as a twin to save you from cracking your head on the bunks when set up as a double and you try to walk along the side of the bed. this problem doesn't arise if the bunks are ceiling mounted. An OV on Musica will be about 15 to 20 sq. ft smaller ( ~172sq ft) that equates to the room being 2 ft shorter The cabins are standard width (3m or ~10 ft) Edited June 30, 2017 by Skier52
Skier52 Posted June 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2017 here is an image of wall mounted bunks on Orchestra, to illustrate the problem if d set up as a double
