Juneau with Car

We decided to rent a car to go to the Mendenhall Glacier. Since we have the car, what are recommendations to do in Juneau with a car for a few hours??

My husband loves the Alaskan Beer, so we had to visit the Brewery. (and will again) We also loved walking the grounds of the Shrine of St Terese....it is beautiful. The Glacial Gardens are also very beautiful and a nice place to visit. Next year we are going to DIPAC's Macaulay Salmon Hatchery. We toured a Trout Hatchery in Missouri one time and it was very interesting. Plus you can drive to Mendenhall Glacier also. Enjoy your trip!

We have also rented a car for Juneau, but unfortunately, we only have max. 6 hours in Port.

Hoping to start with Mendenhall Glacier, then drive to the Shrine and have time for a few stops along the way back... including the Brewery. Anyone with experience, think this is possible in this time?

We will likely only do a shorter hike at the Glacier.

Who did you rent though? We reserved through Juneau Car Rental and they sent us a map of places to see when they confirmed the reservation.
