bowulf Posted August 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Has anyone made the switch to buying annual travel insurance? I just did through Nationwide primarily for the medical evacuation / coverage rather than an specific cancellation coverage -- although it does cover that as well but not "any reason." The coverage seemed similar to specific trip plans coverage. The cost ($230) was reasonable for 5 people, which appealed to my Dutch side but made my "too good to be true" alert. The cancellation coverage ($2500) would be about the same of each trip insurance individually, and Nationwide typically has good reviews on the sites. Just looking for other experiences with Nationwide or other annual plans.
martinchem Posted August 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Allianz offers annual policies and I have been thinking about it, seems above $400 a year. But we vacation more often and it probably would be worth it.
RJ2002 Posted September 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2017 We recently researched annual policies, and chose one offered by RoamRight. Thankfully have not had to make a claim as of yet.
