NOLA 10:50 flight on debarkation day, dumb or reasonable?

I'm on the 12/23/18 Breakaway sailing from NOLA. We're supposed to dock 7 am on 12/30. There's a 10:50 flight that could work out well for us to get home and it's reasonably cheap - but is it realistic? We are in the Haven so I know we get priority debarkation, but I've also found flying that first/business/AA Elite luggage priority means ZERO as far as reliability - sometimes it matters, often it doesn't.

Never flown through their airport, so no idea how big/small it is. We're on American if that makes a difference.

I want to try to book by tomorrow because the air seems to keep on going up. Anyone got any experiences to share about that flight time? Thanks.
