Celtic Cop Posted May 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2018 We are taking our first cruise on Carnival Fantasy in August. We enjoy going to the gym and a good steam afterwards. DH says that these ships have separate steam rooms for men and women. We like to steam and relax together (young and still in love lol). Do you think there would be issues if I went into the male steam room with him if no one else was in there? Do you think we would get in trouble? Thanks in advance. waldorf Posted May 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Of course there would be a problem! How can you know someone doesn’t want to use it when you are there?
Celtic Cop Posted May 25, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted May 25, 2018 I don’t understand, for the life of me, why they wouldn’t have co ed or why anyone would care whose in there. But thanks for the input.
twodjs Posted May 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Just looked at the deck plan - surprised to see there was no steam or sauna for men & women together. Not usually the case. Could be a big problem, or maybe not a problem at all - men usually in towels or nothing. You be the judge..

It makes no difference to me what other people do. But it seems like some would be uncomfortable with a girl in there.
twodjs Posted May 25, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Yes, most of the world, no problem. But on a cruise ship with men-only and women-only areas, those single-sex areas should be respected.
