Petoonya Posted June 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2018 There is really nothing to do in Maroe Bay. You have to take Le Truck to Fare about 15 min away. Some cruise lines include this transport, some don't and you pay yourself. When we were there last summer we took "Sailing Huahine Voile", a small sailing boat for 12 people from Fare. The day was fantastic, 3 snorkel sites, some of the best snorkeling we've ever done. The proprietor met us at the dock at Maroe Bay and went along with us to Fare where we bought supplies for lunch and boarded the "Eden Martin". Take a look at their website for description. Loved it so much we're doing the day again in November. You need 4 people to reserve the boat for the day.

Petoonya Posted July 4, 2018 #9 Share Posted July 4, 2018 Hi Marken, Not on Maasdam- doing Wind Spirit also in November. I chose Tahiti Sailing Charter (Huahine Voile) partly because it doesn't do pearl/vanilla farm that strikes me as kind of touristy. Have heard nothing but wonderful things about Huahine Nautique though, so I'm probably missing out on something special. Know they are super nice people. I'm sure you'll find others to join you on either tour as your sailing date approaches. Best wishes.

Manatini tours will bring you to some good snorkeling spots. The info is in French. I cannot find an English one. They do speak English and their email is listed on here. http://www.passfenua.com/193-manatini-tours-huahine.html
