fifthending Posted December 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2017 Hi all - Has anyone had experience staying in an interior room on Deck 8? I believe the cabin is towards the front of the boat. I got a bit seasick the last time I cruised in December (also to the Caribbean but with Holland America instead of RCL) and since it's the same situation this time around, I wonder if cabin choice will alleviate or exacerbate it. cb at sea Posted December 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2017 The very front of the ship does experience more motion than the middle...think of a see-saw. Deck 8 isn't THAT high, tho. If you are prone to motion sickness, something more midship will suit your tummy better.
