DOD

Get a temporary tattoo as soon as they open (but next month I'm waiting on the tattoo until we get to Key West so I can get a longer lasting henna).

This thread is hilarious! I haven't been on Carnival (yet) but here's what I do:

1) admire the atrium

2) go to the buffet

3) go to my cabin and take photos of my room before we mess it up

4) unpack

5) muster drill

6) have fun at sailaway!

1. DOD

2. Put on bathing suit that's been stashed in "day" bag.

3. Find a premiere lounge chair.

4. Another drink - probably not another DOD.

5. See if room is ready.

6. Back to lounge chair.

OH Drink of the DAY///:cool:

1. Go put towels on loungechairs by the pool for tomorrow.

2. Unpack and rinse out my old DOD glass.

3. Bungy my italian sheets onto my balcony for that "April fresh" smell.

4. Plug in my iron.

5. Polish my sandels for Formal Night.

6. Search for the Secret Door that is no longer secret.

Actually, my wife and I grab a DOD, park at the railing and share that "smile", knowing what's in store for the next week. There's truely nothing like it...

1.)I usually (only 2 cruises so far, 3rd in 1/10) like to go around and take as many pictures as possible of the areas of the ship without all the people

2.) Grab some Lunch

3.) Take our stuff to the room

4.) Start vacation

1. Turn off cell phone and drop it in my checked bags as I leave them with the porter ... come on, I'm on vacation!!!!!

2. Attempt (and usually succeed) to drop carried-on bags off in closet of stateroom.

4. Wander the ship for the first time, taking as many pics of uncrowded ship as I can ... know that this is probably the only time there will be this many chairs available next to the pool. :D

3. Proceed directly to Lido deck for DOD and lunch ... do not pass go, do not collect $200, lol :p

4. Grab my book, my dod, and head poolside for some sun before the muster drill.

5. Muster drill. :(

6. Top deck for sailaway ... after that, we'll "think" about unpacking ... depends how many dod's we've had.;)

Grab a drink at the lobby bar, then head up for some lunch, then get my 2nd drink. :D

I'm with you! :D

Actually will wait at the lobby bar until the rest in our party get on board.

My DH & I booked a suite and my parents and aunt have balconies so I'm being mean - doing my VIP boarding and waiting at the lobby bar :D.
