Dining with Captain?

We have been lucky enough to dine at the Captain's table on other cruises. Can you tell me if this can happen on Seabourn and was it a good experience for you?

It is always an honor and a priviledge to sit at the Captain's dinner table. I've been invited many times as well as his being "my guest" at my dinner parties. Your fellow dinner guests are usually fun, charming and distinctive and the conversation is always "lively!"

I've always thought it fun when the Captain orders Aquavit for the table.....

the toasts are clever and interesting! Especially the "salute" from the Captain!

Have fun and safe sailing!

Agree with Martha B....we had a wonderful experience at Captain Sorensen's table the night b/4 we sailed into Rio in February....he invited the table to join him on the "bridge" at 5:30AM as we sail into Rio, past Sugarloaf and the Christ statue! We did.....it was a fun time!!

Anthony~~~~yes, Capt. Dr. T.T. is alot of fun! We've all teased him about his "Doctorate degree of Cruising".......on the Pride Crossing last March I presented him his "official degree!" Someone on board researched whether Captain came 1st or the Doctor......Captain comes 1st! (a 'lit trivia) Many years ago he wanted to attend The University of Texas......(believe it or not!) He told me that "his life took a different path".......now I refer to him as "Captain Dr. Tonis Tex Sorensen!" That's a mouthful! In Aug/Sept., on our Pride Crossing I'm hosting a Texas Dinner and of course, "Tonis Tex" will be the guest of honor! As there will be several of us from Texas, the party will be a "Hook'em Horns Affair"......carumba!

Happy Trails and Sails to You!

Martha,

I would love to be with you on your next Pride cruise. But, as I went to Texas A&M, I could never go to a "Hook 'em Horns" party.

Anyhow, we are going to be cruising on the Elbe River in September.

Bill~~~~OF COURSE you could come to the party.....I'll rename it, "The Hook 'em and Gig 'em" gala! I have many Aggie friends! In fact, I like maroon better than I like ORANGE, even though I'm an 'ole Longhorn!

Have a fun and safe sailing!
