SarniaLo Posted February 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2018 It should be green in the South, but winter-like conditions are still possible in the North. Depending on the year, the spring starts around that time above the Arctic circle so you could already have leaves, or you could just have the buds. It's also likely that you will still have snow on the mountains in the North. My first trip was at the end of April and I think it is a very nice season for the trip, because you have very long days and interesting landscapes with the snow on the mountains, and also the feeling of going back in time because the spring will be much more advanced in the South. And you already have no dark nights in the North, and that gives interesting lights.
