NCL Dawn Quebec

Arriving on NCL Dawn Friday Oct 5 Quebec City, needing to get to Vermont for Saturday wedding. Any suggestions as to.....

If making flight reservations, how much lead time is suggested to allow for disembarkation and then transportation by cab to airport, what time to fly out? Other choice would be car rental from Quebec to Vermont. Any ideas as to which if any car rentals rent with Quebec pick up and US drop off?

I would investigate the rental car if they have one way drop off in the USA

We rented with Enterprise in Boston and dropped in Quebec City at the airport with no problem. I think I set it up through Expedia. It worked out very well, and traveling by car was great. We stopped at Montmorency Falls and St. Anne de Beaupre Cathedral, both stops unforgettable. There are several other waterfalls heading toward Montreal/Vermont that we will check out next time. The King’s Road is very scenic, and there are lovely stops all over Vermont, too. I would choose renting a car and driving.

One more thing, if you want to stay overnight in Montreal, we loved Hotel Alt which is not expensive, modern and has a nice restaurant for breakfast and a bar right in the hotel. Get the crepes! It is also walking distance to the street with all the bars and art galleries, Rue Notre Dame Ouest. Lovely!
