Blue Lagoon Family Beach Day

Hi All,

I have a couple of questions for those of you that have done this excursion before.

When you do this through the cruise line are you responsible for getting back and forth to the ferry dock on Paradise Island, or do they provide transport?

Are you able to leave the island when you are ready, or do you have to wait for a set time?

I am just confused on how the transportation part works, if any one could please clarify this for me I would be so grateful.

If you book through the cruise line, they will pick you up and drop you off at the port.

The ferry only leaves Blue Lagoon at certain hours (1, 2, 4 pm) but you can choose which ferry you want. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get back. We did the sea lion encounter a few weeks ago and took the 2 o'clock ferry, which didn't get us back to the port until after 3. Good thing we didn't take the 4 o'clock ferry or we would have missed our ship!
