Taxi Rates are changing

Well, I guess I can still show you what the Taxi Dispatch area looks like,

But it appears that many of my taxi rate photos are no longer accurate, so I won't be referencing them any more.

The Dutch St. Maarten Taxi Association has finally rebuilt and updated their website, and include new pricing for taxi rides and tours.

It looks like the prices that have changed have (shocker) gone up, especially the ride out to Maho.

The elusive Orient to Maho fare is identified as $30 for two, with two bags.

Thx GTaylor - it is possible that we will be doing an "air" trip to SXM in Dec or Jan - so this is useful info!

Which zone is the cruise port? I don't see it or am I just overlooking it?

This is most helpful since I need to know the pricing from the Marigot area.

If you're talking about prices from the Philipsburg Cruise Facility, then take a look at the taxi rides link. Should be the same price each way to the listed destinations.

If you're talking about rates from Marigot to other island points, then check the rate chart. Marigot is listed as Zone 16.
