FraudBroad Posted April 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Okay folks, The list of whale watching tour companies is extensive for Juneau. I've found three that people seem to be very happy with. Which one(s) have people used and really liked? I've found the following: Harv and Marv Orca Enterprises Wheather Permitting Has anyone done more than one of these and have an opinion on which is best? Thanks! Assateague Island Princes Posted April 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2012 I've gone whale watching with Harv and Marv's twice and they were spectacular! Loved the small, 6 passenger boats, the fantastic service from booking right thru the excursion, and so enjoyed our Captain - Jay - born and raised in Juneau, and loves his whales. However, with all that being said, I have also heard nothing but good things about the other 2 vendors you mentioned, and I would not hesitate to give them a try if H&M was booked. I think you can't go wrong with any of these vendors.
gymjudge55 Posted April 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2012 We are using Rum Runners as they offered a combination fishing (for the guys) and whale watching tour for 6 hours. We tried to book 8 hours but he had a booking after ours. Chris was great to work with and several sites had glowing reviews, anyone on here had any experience? We liked the small boat (private charter for the 4 of us) and the ability to both fish and whale watch.
