Music that soothes the soul-helps with PCD

I know everyone has that favorite "CD" you listen to when suffering from PCD or are getting ready for your next departure. I have to say my favorite is

Kenny Chesney--Be As You Are;) The steel drums somehow take you back.

Any more suggestions?:rolleyes:

listening to my "pre-cruise" CD does nothing but depress me MORE. :( LOL

I get a mix of ecitement/elation and sadness when one of my cruise songs comes on the radio. I'm a confused individual.

Supposedly, a smooth jazz radio station in New York City is turning into a vacation music station later this month. Maybe I'll get some new music to chase the blues away. :)

I made myself a "cruise mix" cd. It's half Kenny Chesney, half Jimmy Buffet, and one UB40 song. I leave for my cruise in 18 days, so I'm listening to it more and more. :)

I'm from NY, too. What station is changing over?

Mostly this would be anything out of my Jimmy Buffett collection (this is a pretty big collection). Floridays probably being the #1 choice. Tha's all I've had on all week.:rolleyes:

I thought I heard on CD 101.9 (New York Chill -- jazzy "elevator music" :)) that they were going to be changing over on September 26th. But I haven't found anything on it, online, and I haven't heard any other announcements. Watch, I bet it was just me getting over excited at the mere idea of having a cruise-ish music station 24/7. :)
