U.S. Launch Fares and Value Fares

Not sure if this is old news, but I haven't seen it before. Just noticed this on Cunard's U.S. web site at http://www.cunard.com/cruise-types/winter-highlights/us-our-fares/.

This sounds a bit like the Cunard Fares and Saver Fares in the UK but with specific expiration dates on their availability. Here are the details for those outside the U.S. where that link won't work.

Launch Fares

The Cunard Launch Fares are available on all cruises when you book by Nov 30, 2017. They also give you the flexibility to change your booking (subject to our booking conditions). When booking, you will need to pay a 25% deposit once the three-day option period has ended and then you are able to pay the remaining balance at a later date.

Launch Fares also include Onboard Credit per Balcony stateroom and above. Plus receive a Free Drinks Package and Free Gratuities when you reserve a Princess Grill Suite or Queens Grill Suite by Nov 30, 2017.

You are offered your choice of stateroom number (subject to availability) and are given the highest priority for receiving stateroom upgrades (where applicable).

You receive first priority for receiving your chosen Britannia Restaurant seating time (either 6.00pm or 8.30pm) and table size.

Value Fares

Value Fares offer a lower fare and are available on selected cruises only. When booking, you will need to pay a reduced 12.5% nonrefundable deposit and pay the remaining balance at a later date. Cunard will assign your stateroom location and number at a later date based on category booked. Your assigned dining time in the Britannia Restaurant will be confirmed when you board, and is subject to availability. Expires Feb 28, 2018. Value Fare Cruises are not available to book online.
