i'm making a cd to play on our trip tommorrow - what are some good cruising songs? so far i've got sail away by enya and some jimmy buffett.Thanks!

Hmm...There's so many.

I will admit the reggae music can get a bit overwhelming for 6 hours out around the pool, but a good piano bar and good wine is great night.

I've got it downloaded on my desktop and play it no less than a dozen times a day the last couple weeks before a cruise :eek:

I don't know what the rest of you are thinking, but I can think of no better cruise music than LIVE! ;) :D

Other than LIVE, I like all the actual music listed above and can't choose just one or two or even few enough to fit on one CD; I have six CDs that I made with nothing but cruise style music. (Made as in burnt to CD, I did not actually make the music :o )

Sassy - I made myself a great CD, using many of the aforementioned tunes. Love it, and absolutely Christopher Cross' "Sailing"... "Red Red Wine" is also a goodie.

Just wanted to let you know that you might want to look in the ship's gift shop for a cruisin' CD. They have different ones at various times, and they're all good. I have three so far. That way, you'll be ready for your NEXT cruise!:)

An absolute MUST have is the CD "Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits" by Jerry Jeff Walker. If you like Jimmy Buffet, you'll love this. Jerry Jeff is the guy who got Buffet started on the beach music thing when he took him to the keys for the very first time. Trust me! You buy this cd, and it will quickly be one of your faves.
