I don't know what the rest of you are thinking, but I can think of no better cruise music than LIVE! ;) :D

Other than LIVE, I like all the actual music listed above and can't choose just one or two or even few enough to fit on one CD; I have six CDs that I made with nothing but cruise style music. (Made as in burnt to CD, I did not actually make the music :o )

Sassy - I made myself a great CD, using many of the aforementioned tunes. Love it, and absolutely Christopher Cross' "Sailing"... "Red Red Wine" is also a goodie.

Just wanted to let you know that you might want to look in the ship's gift shop for a cruisin' CD. They have different ones at various times, and they're all good. I have three so far. That way, you'll be ready for your NEXT cruise!:)

I have my little cruise videos that I searched ENDLESSLY for music to. I would say more hours than I'd like to think about and clearly, the best cruise music is the following list (with the fair warning: this is to my taste). Also, it depends where you're traveling, as will be evident in this list:

baha men: island boy

blondie: in the sun, man overboard, tide is high

blues bros: funky nassau

bob marley: don't rock my boat

bobby darin/robbie williams: beyond the sea

fastball: you're an ocean

freddie magregor: joy in the morning

greezy joe: rum

island music: come to the bahamas

freddie magregor: big ship sailing

onyan art: conch shell rock

onyan art: down by the sea

st. somewhere: postcard

sunshine riddim: caribbean queen

the radiators: little paradise

ziggy marley: one bright day

54-40: ocean pearl

boney m: the rivers of babylon

buster poindexter: hot, hot, hot

jerry jeff walker: gringo in belize

jimmy buffett: lovely cruise, island fever, etc

kings of convience: cayman islands

maroon 5: my blue ocean

slightly stoopid: leavning on a jet plane

barefoot man: steal me coconuts (and others)

will smith: miami

barry manilow: copacabana

garth brooks: two pina coladas

sheryl crow: soak up the sun

ween: ocean man

weezer: island in the sun

david lee roth: just like paradise

adam and the ants: jolly roger

bobby darin: sea of love

harry nilsson: put the lime in the coconut

coconut pete: pleasure island

yellow man: morning ride

ween: the mollusk

there are more, but this is the cream of the crop for me personally. Enjoy!!

Jason,

Are you still doing the videos as the business?

I sent you an email a little while ago, would love to have you do something when we get back from our cruise.

An absolute MUST have is the CD "Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits" by Jerry Jeff Walker. If you like Jimmy Buffet, you'll love this. Jerry Jeff is the guy who got Buffet started on the beach music thing when he took him to the keys for the very first time. Trust me! You buy this cd, and it will quickly be one of your faves.
