bingo age??

I just got off the Star Saturday and went to bingo once (very expensive) they let kids play as long as there was a adult present to collect the money if they won. I did see one man that bought five gaming machines for him, his wife and three kids. One of the kids did win and they just gave him the winnings.

The cost is about an arm and a leg. The ship makes a lot of money on this. Their profits here are more than the casino. They do not give all money back on what they bring in. This is really too bad. We played once and will never play again.:)

We also just got off the Star on Saturday. We only played Bingo once. They do allow children to play (with parents)...even have a kids pack of cards for sale. On a side note...I hate the electronic machines! It just isn't bingo anymore. No searching for your numbers, no poke and bend....just sit and wait for the machine to tell you that you have won. Took all the fun out of it, IMHO. BTY, I heard an woman complaining about the cost of bingo on NCL....she said that on Carnival you could play for FREE! Well, I have cruised Carnival, also, and I have never experienced free bingo!

If you read above, I have cruised twice w/CCL and, although it sounds cheaper, it wasn't free.

Thanks for the help, guys!

While cruising to Canada on Carnival Victory last July, a woman in front of us told us that children under the gaming age couldn’t play bingo on NCL.

Is this true?

In 1984 when I was 13 on the Norway I won $364 playing bingo. Not sure about now but any age could play in the past. :)
