South Palm Cruiser Posted April 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Mysticks1 - thanks for the coaching - you are awesome !! Have been following the Solstice online, from keel laying to current sailings. Finally sailed on March 29 - connnecting CC cabins, 1247 and 1249, deck 10, port side, aft of hump. Rather than get into subjective likes and dislikes, we are of the school that any day on a ship is better than a day at work - that said, the cruise was fine - give me a good book, a glass of wine and the privacy of a balcony and I'm good to go. There have been several threads about the layout of connecting cabins, quirks in the bathrooms , etc. A picture is worth 1000 words: Corridor - really narrow - had to step aside more often than not Outer double door to connecting stateroom vestibule View into connecting rooms from vestibule View to entry vestibule from rooms Hump balconies with partition open - sort of - it folds back half way and that's it To be continued - need another post for more pics
LINGBER Posted July 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2009 Hi South Palm Cruiser! I have similiar cabins booked on the Eclipse. Thank you sooo much for posting these pictures. I was having a little trouble visualing how the cabins were connecting. Was there anything you didn't like about these staterooms? We are going to be on a 14 day sailing and are looking for the best layout to accommodate our family. I would love to see the rest of your pictures if you have time to post them :) Many thanks!
