doron Posted September 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2009 What are the inside cabins like on p&o are they a resonable size i have sailed on ocean village where cabins are quite spacious i don,t expect p&o to be as big though, also do they have fridges in inside cabins. BrianI Posted September 1, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2009 We usually have an inside cabin and find them OK. Plenty of space and adequate storage. There is a fridge, TV, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits etc., in fact everything an outside cabin has except a window. Very useful if going to northern Norway in summer as the suns shines all night. In an inside it is dark when you turn the lights out. Need to set a wakeup call on the phone as there is no natural daylight to wake you up. Brian
capasamari Posted September 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2009 If you tune the television to the webcam channel it gives you a "window" to the outside world. Carol x
Pontius Navigator Posted September 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2009 They usually have a mirror in lieu of a window. IIRC the first inside we went on in Oceana was a little cramped - one or other of us could stand between the single beds but not both. The MinL's cabin had the beds in Queen configuration and seemd more spacious. In Artemis there are no inside cabins but the basic outside or balcony cabins are best in twin configuration. On Oriana the inside was fine.
Eveshamgirl Posted September 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2009 The inside cabins on the Ventura are really nice and quite spacious. Really love the amount of wardrobe space and hugh queen bed. If you are like us and love to be on deck and only return to the cabin to rest save yourself money and go inside.:)
love2cruiseaswell Posted September 6, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2009 We have only been on a cruise once, and that was a inside cabin. We worked out we could have more than one cruise a year, if we went inside. It was a lot better than l thought it would be. Dawn
cruisebore Posted September 6, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 6, 2009 No good if you are a smoker, you need a balcony. Regards Cb
