Blue Lagoon Dolphin swim vs Discovery Cove?

Has anyone done both of these dolphin swim experiences? Discovery Cove in Orlando is considerably more expensive for the dolphin swim ($290) but its part of an all inclusive day. But I think you only get 30 mins on the dolphin swim. Looking at Blue Lagoon you get an hour and its $185 for the day (no food though?). Would love to know if someone has done both which one they would recommend as we are visiting both Orlando and the Bahamas next April (lucky us!). Many thanks.

I've not done both but I can say that Blue Lagoon does an excellent program. Lunch is not included in the price, but there are a few food (sandwiches, drinks, etc.) options available on the island.

From a money standpoint, if you were already going to do the all inclusive in Orlando and you DON'T have to pay more for the dolphin swim (I was a little confused from your original post) then it would be hard for me to justify paying at Blue Lagoon.

I have only done Discovery Cove and it was fantastic. It seemed longer than 30 minutes with the dolphins, but i could be wrong. As you said, because it is an all-inclusive place you get your meals and the different snorkling areas are awesome. You get to snorkle with sting rays as well and walk through and feed the birds in the aviary. While I can't compare it to Blue Lagoon, I'd say it sounds like more for your money.
