Shuttle from Miami to Port at Fort Lauderdale

If you mean from MIA (Miami airport) then it's easiest to just take SuperShuttle... http://www.supershuttle.com/Miami_airport_shuttle.aspx

You could also get a car service or limo... You do not want to take a taxi that far, it's more expensive and not very comfortable over that distance. MIA to Port Everglades is about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic, longer of course during rush hour or if there's an accident.

I e-mailed SAS - and they sent me the name of an associate of theirs. The e-mail said that "they are so heavily reserved at the Port of Miami and do not have vans at Port Everglades."

So - guess we need to try something else.

If he has an associate he trusts you may want to try them.

Go Shuttle is another option... http://goairportshuttle.com/

my friend who lives there says to take the train between the two airports...he says it's cheap and easy. lol..hmmm, that sounds a bit tacky lol...cheap and easy....:p

he bypasses all the traffic. this is what we will be doing.

After you do that you'll wish you'd have rented a car or taken a shuttle. The train is NOT tourist friendly, there's no place for luggage and it's rarely even close to being on time.

It's also NOT connected to the airports, you'll need to take a bus to/from the airport and the stations.
