teenager activities

We are taking our 11 y.o and 15 y.o on the Jewel of the Seas on 2/12. Do older teens participate in group activities. Are they bored? Are they supervised? :o

No! Not bored, not supervised, either.

 

Seriously, there are teen activites, mostly in the evening and the teens are allowed to come and go at will. Most ships have a teen disco that the kids hang out in. My teens (now 17 and 16) have a fabulous time on cruises. I would recommend that you encourage (force, if necesary) your teen to go to the first one or two teen activities, that's when they meet other kids. After that, it's up to the parent to monitor what's going on.

 

truth to tell, it was much easier when they were little! But your teen will not be bored.

Thanks, my 15 y.o. is very independent and don't think he'll have trouble making friends. I was just wondering if activities in that age range were well attended.
