RAE6 Posted September 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2009 I just recently got this hotel for $44 on priceline. It took about 6 weeks of bidding before it was finally accepted. I had originally booked a rate $89/night thru travelzoo and kept that as my back up while I patiently bid. Since you are so far out, patience is what you need and keep checking the bidding websites where others post their wins so you know the dates/amounts that others are getting. Good luck ;)
IslandToIsland Posted September 7, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Do you know the area I should choose on either site?
tourlink99 Posted September 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2009 For the Intercontinental, it is in the WestShore area. Bid $50 for a 4 star and you have a good chance. The only other hotel of that caliber in Westshore is the Rennaisance. The other 4 stars are in Rocky Pt and downtown. Remember you cant pick your hotel with Priceline or Hotwire. Besides Don Shulas Steakhouse being in that location, why do you need the Intercontinental? Mark
