The Legend in July, not Kuly. I was pleasantly surprised that my artificial knee does not set off Carnival's metal detectors. I told them before I went through and they said it wouldn't set it off.

Love your review. My 2 year old son was looking at the pictures with me naming thigs: "boat, drink, etc" he saw this picture and said "pee pee"

We are back on the Gulf coast, ready to sail on the Legend again on Sunday. 2almost platinum, 1pm her 2nd cruise, and a cruise virgin. Will take lots of pics, food porn included. Review coming soon after Labor Day.

I just found this review and got to page 3 before I realized it was back in 2009. I read the whole thing anyway. Glad to hear the cruise was great and glad to hear your knee surgery went well..

I live in central Cali so I don't know when I'll ever get a chance to sail to any of these ports, but thanks for such an awesome review! One of the best I've read on this site.

 

BTW: Have a blast on your cruise! I've got 72 days to wait until my Splendor cruise :-) Therefore I sail vicariously through others!

We leave in 19 days for our Eastern Caribbean cruise. Absolutely LOVED your total review. The pictures were awesome (and I can't believe how good those underwater shots with the digital are) and your descriptions kept me laughing.

I'm fighting a knew replacement but don't feel it's to the point yet I should pull the trigger. So glad to read that yours turned out very positive.

Looking forward to finding your review from August. And thanks again for taking the time and effort to allow others to live the cruise through you.
