We use a car service to get from Connecticut to the NYC cruise terminal.

 

You can also drive to the pier and park your car there while you are on the cruise.

Well, you can take any bus (i.e. Peter Pan etc) that goes to Manhattan, and then a cab to the pier from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. There are some private busing companies that run shuttles to the cruise terminal as well... like Dattco, Bonanza, all sorts of private companies. NCL used to have a bus that passed through CT (Hartford was a stop I believe) but they have since done away with it.

 

Personally, we like to ride in from CT on Metro North trains and then take a quick cab over to the pier... Very easy, and quite simple. We leave from New Haven with no issues at all.

I considered this option too. Do you remember about how much the cab cost you to the pier?

I have used Entertainment Tours to get from the Train Station in New Haven to the Piers in NY. Does anyone know if this is still running or how to get in touch with them?

Does CT limo (Those big suburbans) still go? I think they;re still around....

If you take the train into Grand Central (cheap too) you can get a cab from Grand Central to the pier for under 10 bucks.

We always take the Bonanza Bus from Danbury to the Port Authority, and a cab to the pier. Great inexpensive way to go.:)

Me and hubby lived in Danbury and now we live in New Milford, I work at a salon in Newtown. Small world!
