Any suggestions on hotels in NO for the night before the cruise ? I'd like a nice price with pier transfers. I'm not familiar with NO but considering a cruise from there and just doing some "groundwork". Thanks in advance ! :)

Call Hilton Riverside. They have a cruise deal that includes free covered parking for the week.

staybridge is nice, they have a wonderful breakfast in the morning, however their parking garage is horrible, very steep climb and they charge $26.00 per night or they did last year. My neice stayed at the Drury Inn last month said it was nice. Don't know if either has pier transfers or parking offers for cruises sorry

No transfers to port with the Drury but it seems to be one of the best bargains around. They have a cruise special with lets you park your car for the week. You do have to pay for the first nights parking but the other nights are free. They also have a happy hour, free internet and a free breakfast the next morning. One in our group is going to drop us off at the port with luggage, take the car back and park and then grab a taxi back to us. Taxis cost are by person in NO.
