Sailing in May 2010

Our family is planning a family cruise on May 30th, 2010 to the Mexican Riviera RT Los Angeles. Anyone know what the weather is like during May for this itinerary? Would the weather be sunny or ???

It will be sunny and nice in Mexico. It most likely will be sunny in California as well but also could be a little gloomy and rainy. I've done May/April cruises and had lovely weather all 7 days and done them and had cool weather the first and last sea day.

I think hot in Mexico and early morning clouds/ fog in Long Beach. Warm afternoons. We call it June gloom. Might need a light sweatshirt for deck on sea days.
