Taxi or Tours to Irving Nature Park

Is there a tour other than ship's to Irving Nature Park In St. John or can you get a taxi to ride you thru the park. I heard that some taxi's give tours to some of the area in St. John is that true. We will be there on the Carribean Princess on 10/14.

A taxi will take you through the park on a dirt road; however it's an internal road through the woods and in itself is not an attraction. The attraction would be the hiking trail that snakes along the perimeter of the park with views of the Bay of Fundy and wet lands (with birds and seals). Unless you plan to walk or hike some of the trails, it may not be worth the cost of a taxi to go there IMO.
