I did this for my last cruise, there was some website that you went and put in all your upcoming cruise info and your last cruise booking number, I got a free bottle of wine. Anyone know what that site is?

You used to register at Ocean Players Club dot com. I forgot about it last month before our Freedom cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday. Imagine my surprise when I opened my cabin door and the room was decorated with streamers and banners. I thought they were from my DH or my friends that were cruisng with us but when I picked up the card that was on the dresser they were from the Carnival Players Club. There was also a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. I was traveling with my DH, 2 friends and their DH's-it was kind of funny. Each of them thought the other had the cabin decorated cause when they called at different times they were told the decorations had already been taken care of.

 

I also had the letter with the free drink and the 500 points.

 

I wrote a thank note (finally got to use that Platinum stationary) and gave it to the casino host. I told her how surprised I really was cause I had forgotten to register at the OPC website. She said that was no longer necessary-they keep up with it you are a member of the Players Club.

 

We are cruising again in Nov and I was curious so I went to the OPC and there is no longer a place to register your upcoming cruise. I called the number and was told the same thing that the casino host told me. The Players Club will know my DH & I are on the cruise without having to register beforehand.

Most people just get the free drink and 500 points. If you gamble more, you get more.

I let them know 3 times in a 3 month period that we were coming, and they did not have us registared at all for being on board. He appolgized and offered a free drink. no points, no nothing.

I did that on my back to back trip late last year, got a reply email that they recieved my info, and I got zip, zero, nada on either of my two cruises....

 

won't waste my time with that again.

 

and yes, i went to the right site, and yes they acknowledged it.

you must have dialed wrong I just called it and it is their rating dept for OPC. try again

my apologies this number was forwarded, the carnival players club number is 1-800-522-7466 I didn't didn't stay on the line long enough to listen to the complete promp. Don't know why I had both numbers. Sorry

Ok, I called, they said to call no sooner than 1 week before our cruise to registar so they know we are going to be there.

I was really wondering why I would have had NRA in my list of cruise contact #'s thanks for figuiring that one out. Wow

I have gotten $ before and had no problems collecting it from the casino cage. Kinda like winning before I even played.:) Hope they hook you up with some freebees.

Has anyone ever gotten a free entry into the slot tournment through the players club?
