Has anyone brought a Kindle onboard?

I am planning on bringing my Kindle on our next cruise and was wondering if anyone else has had experience downloading or syncing while in port... specifically the Caribbean.

 

I will probably get all the books I want ahead of time, but sometimes I like to download news.

Hey thanks! I didn't realize there was an active thread in "Ask a cruise question." :)

 

I hope some cruisers who may have tried syncing via PC or in port can give an update about Kindle 2.
