Sigyn Posted September 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Are there any partial Panama Canal cruises that depart and return to a California port? I've seen them do partials to Florida ports, but not Los Angeles or San Diego. The reason I ask about this is because we have parents in Los Angeles that would love to babysit our toddler while we cruise, and so leaving from one coast and going to another isn't an option unless we take our son with us. And I'm not crazy about the idea of cruising Panama with a two-year-old in tow! :)
BillB48 Posted September 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Princess did a 19 day roundtrip out of California. The last time I looked at their schedule I did not notice that particular cruise listed. I really don't know for sure if is offered at sometime in the year or not. I don't know if the 10 day full transit from Acapulco to Ft. Lauderdale (and vice versa)would be something you could work in or not.
D&N LUV 2 TRAVEL Posted September 16, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2009 The only way you can do it would be a B2B out of LA to FLL and return. This is on the Coral and 15 days each way. That's lots of babysitting for the grandparents.
Putterdude Posted September 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2009 I am not aware of any other than a back to back. Flying back from FLL is no trick and Southwest has some great fares.
