momofsixkids Posted September 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Hi, We booked a cruise Oct 10th on the Eurodam and were given a guarrantee of a VH cabin. What kind of cabin is this? and where are they located? Thanks for the help.
ekerr19 Posted September 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2009 You may get upgraded because there are only a few of the VH's. Here is the deck plan: http://book.hollandamerica.com/fleet/deckPlan.do?ship=ed&deck=up9&year=next
jtl513 Posted September 16, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2009 VH is the lowest class of verandah cabin, in an undesirable location (IMO), with steel wall railings on the verandah. Since there are four of them, you have a very good chance of a free upgrade.
K&RCurt Posted September 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Hi, We booked a cruise Oct 10th on the Eurodam and were given a guarrantee of a VH cabin. What kind of cabin is this? and where are they located? Thanks for the help. Do you understand what is meant by a "Guarrantee cabin"? HAL has agreed that you will be assigned a cabin of their choice and the catagory of the cabin will be VH or better. As others have stated there are only 4 VH cabins on the ship. In all likelyhood you will be assigned to a higher catagory cabin (VF, VE, VD???) BUT you may be assigned a VH.
