Pride or Miracle

Good morning, planning a group cruise with friends and kids next July or August, and would like your opinion. Would you recommend the Pride out of Baltimore or the Miracle out of New York, I know they are sisters but probably have some differences and the itinerary does not matter. Baltimore is cheaper but New York is an extra day.

Thanks Chris

I've been on both ships, although when I was on the Pride it was not out of Baltimore. We did the itinerary on the Miracle out of New York this past May and I do have to say, the view sailing out is like no other! We have some of our best family pictures from sailaway going past the gorgeous NY skyline, the statue of liberty, ellis island, the brooklyn bridge, etc. It was so awesome that we woke up really early to watch the ship pull into the harbor on our last day even though we were facing a 12 hour drive after disembarkation :D

As you said, both of them are Spirit class ships, which is by far my favorite ship design by Carnival... I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter what you choose.

Been on both ships, including the Pride when it was in Cali. and now from Balt. Love both ships....you can't go wrong with either one. I would go with the itinerary you like better and the port you would prefer to sail out of.

Been on both......LOVED both! Sailed different itinerarys and out of different ports than what you are looking at though.

As you know, the layout of both ships is exactly the same. LOVE the Spirit class ships.....they are so easy to find your way around on. The only difference is the decor. I thought Pride was the most beautiful ship of the 3 Carnival ships I've sailed on (Pride, Miracle and Valor).

Either ship will be great for you.....enjoy! :D
