Help! RCCL Navigator or Carnival Legend

I'm looking at a 5 night on Navigator or a 7 night on Legend, they are basically the same price. On NOS I would have a D1 balcony, on Legend an 9A cabin 6279 which has a bigger balcony than usual. It would be the week of March 14th, 2010.

 

I have two boys 8 & 6 and we cruised a 5 night on Enchantment on March 2008 and they loved it. My younger son loved AO, my older son enjoyed the evening activities more, but liked the pool, rock wall, and bungee trampoline.

 

I realize it is sort of apples and oranges with the 5 & 7, both are Western Caribbean. I guess maybe I am a little nervous about 7 night?!? Any thoughts or experiences with those ships?
