MonDreamr1 Posted September 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2009 I've read several places that the Vatican tour has restrictions on large bags. I haven't been able to find the measurements for what they consider to be a large bag. Does anyone know the max bag size? Has anyone had any experience with their bag check? Is it safe to leave anything in the bag? I am mainly worried about my camera bag/purse. It is a sling over the shoulder bag not a backpack. (33cm x 31cm x 8 cm or 13in x 12.2in x 3.2 in) Which is normally fine sizewise in other museums I know there are photography restrictions in parts and am fine not using the camera in those parts. I just have issues leaving my camera (dSLR) and bag if the area is not secure. TIA
cruiseluv Posted September 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2009 Hi, I can't believe you would have any problems with that, unless their regulations have changed in the last couple of years (last time I was in the Vatican museums).

eandj Posted September 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Was just in the V. museum last week. That size bag is no problem. It's the back packs that they are more concerned about.
