grandbanksguy Posted September 25, 2009 #26 Share Posted September 25, 2009 You could do the referral where each receive the $25. Also, if there are 2 couples, you could book one Capt. Circle member in each cabin. I hear that others do this and not have a problem. Also, you could get the referral as well. Just did exactly that on the Ruby 9/1/09 sailing. There were no problems. The only slight inconvenience was that one cruise card of each couple did not open the stateroom door after we switched rooms. This was fixed when the purser gave us new cards. MCC retired Posted September 25, 2009 #28 Share Posted September 25, 2009 It is definetly not "against the rules" for a TA to Discount (rebate comm.) on Princess or any Carnival Corp. cruiseline. (yet!). TA's are definetly not "blacklisted" by Princess . Whatever rate is offered by booking directly with Princess , is available to "every" US TA. It's up to the TA (Online, Homebased or Brick & Mortar) if their is enough comm. to allow it .(almost always is with Princess ). TA may also hold speculative Group Space at lower rates without having to Discount to be less $$$ than current Princess rates.
