Does anyone know when the new C&A magazine will be out? Did anyone receive one recently?

 

They have added a member cruise to Europe and there is supposed to be a coupon in the next magazine for it.

As it is a quarterly magazine, I'd think it would be coming out this month or something, or no later than next month. Cross your fingers.

Quarterly, but with slow mail service. We received one in January. we received one in April, next issue will probably arrive in California, at least, in July

I just received issue 2 for 2004 and the coupon doesn't state how long the coupon is good for, only that you have to book by 7-31-04. Am I missing the expiration date somehow? Also the coupon is only good per stateroom which kinda sucks when both DW and I are members. It seems like it should $50 off per member. What are your thoughts?

I just looked and I cannot see an expiration date either. I also agree with you regarding the number of coupons you can use per stateroom. Why would you need two members in the family if you can only use one coupon.

Jessed: I may be mistaken, but it sounds like you got the "new member" welcome magazine... not the quarterly C & A.

 

I See your point about the per stateroom/ per person issue. DH & I were both able to use our coupons because we booked 2 staterooms... one in each of our names... so the kids can be in one and we'll be in another.

 

It's not much ($50 per room), but heck, I'll take it!

If you haven't received your C&A mag, you can call RCI and they'll send you one. Because DH & I are both members, I was told by RCI that they don't always send two mags to the same household. However, they did send another for me (tho it took 6 weeks). RCI also said that you don't have to have the coupon to get the discount - stated that it's a widely held misconception by TAs that they must have the coupon when they don't. I did not challenge my TA with this, as I received the coupon in plenty of time for our 9-04 cruise on the Mariner. We've done as Just4kixx did by booking ourselves in separate cabins with our kids.

I received my C&A magazine about a week ago and there were no coupons for cruises past Dec.

Theoretically, you should receive, or at least be looking for, C&A magazines to arrive in the months of January, April, July, and October.

 

To date, my wife an I have been members since July of 2002. We've received only two C&A magazines. I'm hoping that since we received one in April after telling them we weren't getting it that we'll be on track now. Now that I've figured when I should be looking for them, I'm going to keep on them to get me my magazines when I should.

I agree with jessed, but, well i guess saving some money isn't better than no money, so I'm not complaining.
