HaveFunAndSmile Posted September 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2009 I will be sailing on my first cruise Oct. 26,2009 on the Monarch of the Seas. I have room #9000. It is the front room on the right.I would like any input on if this is a room with a good or bad view? If anyone can help me on picking a good room on deck 9, I would love to hear from you. Thank You for any help!
aprilfool Posted September 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2009 I myself would not enjoy this cabin. You will hear anchor noises and are far from the elevators.Call and see what is available midship or aft.,there is an aft elevator.

highrollers Posted September 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2009 When we decided to surprise our 10 year old last year with a cruise, we chose the Monarch for a 4 night cruise. At that time it was leaving out of LA. We decided at the last minute to do this so we were very limited on our cabin choices. We were in 3000. You want to talk about anchor noises. And loud. But you know what? It was just fine. We had so much fun, who else can say that a ship's anchor was their alarm clock in the morning? If you can't change your cabin, don't worry, you will be fine there. Your cruise will be what you make of it regardless of where your cabin is. Have a great time!!
