While I am a non-smoker, some of my smoker friends have asked me to obtain the opinions of those who smoke e-cigarettes as follows:

1. Does the device basically supplant the real cigarette?

2. What is the life expectancy of each e-cigarette?

3. What brand is favored?

4. Where does one purchase these devices?

5. What would be the cost factor for someone who normally smokes 1/2 to 1 pack per day.

E-cigs will work for most people. I am tobacco free for two months. There is a bit of a learning curve, it's not as simple as just lighting up. There are so many choices I would suggest you check out e-cigarette-forum.com

They are not legal to import into the USA. They have not been approved by the FDA. Some initial tests detected issues with the content of the vapors they release.
