sunryz710 Posted September 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hi Everyone, I am sailing with my mom and sister. This is our first vacation that we have ever taken together since I was a kid. My sister never cruised before.. in fact she has never really taken a good vacation before so I am really excited to see this cruise through her eyes. My mom went once before on RCL, and I have sailed 4 times before but on Carnival. My sisters b-day is the week before we sail. I wanted to surprise both my mom and sister, so I pre-ordered the birthday package, some chocolate covered strawberries and some casino credits for both of them. Has anyone out there ever had the birthday package? Can you tell me what to expect? I ordered it so that when we arrive it will be set up. I can't wait to surprise them. 4cats1house Posted September 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2009 I ordered the birthday package for my husband a few years ago. They decorated the room with balloons, streamers, & signs. There was a full size cake in the room & a card to get a smaller cake in any of the restaurants. It was very nice & worth the $ just to surprise him. psheryll Posted September 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2009 I also ordered the birthday package on a one night cruise to nowhere. While the $30 may be a lot, it is worth having the decorations up when you arrive, and they happy suprise. Your sister will love walking into the room and seeing it decorated. Like was previosly said there were balloons hanging from the ceiling, a happy birthday sign over the door to the balcony, and a full sized cake. Have a great time on your cruise!!!
